Andrea Marsh

Executive Director

Ms. Marsh worked to improve the delivery of indigent defense services in Texas as an Arthur Liman Public Interest Fellow at Texas Rural Legal Aid before founding TFDP in 2004. She also has served as a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow at Harvard Law School and is a member of the Oversight Board for the West Texas Regional Public Defender for Capital Murder Cases and the State Bar of Texas Committee on the Provision of Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters.

Ms. Marsh received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. from Tulane University. She was a law clerk to the Hon. Keith P. Ellison in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Harry Williams IV

Staff Attorney

Harry Williams IV graduated from Yale Law School and then served as a law clerk to the Hon. Myron H. Thompson, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Following his clerkship, he worked as an Associate Attorney at Earthjustice in Seattle and a Staff Attorney at the ACLU Drug Law Reform Project before joining TFDP in 2005. Mr. Williams received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota and Ph.D. from Columbia University.

Adrián de la Rosa

Policy Advocate

Adrián de la Rosa holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, a Masters degree in Sociology, and a law degree from Texas Tech University. Throughout his studies, Mr. de la Rosa focused his attention on public interest and social justice issues. During his summers in law school, Mr. de la Rosa studied at the Summer Law Institute at the Universidad de Guanajuato and also worked as a day labor organizer for an immigrant workers‘ rights center. In his spare time, Mr. de la Rosa serves as a board member for Proyecto Defensa Laboral (Workers‘ Defense Project), a nonprofit organization that works to empower Latina/o immigrant workers to act collectively for racial and economic justice in the workplace. Mr. de la Rosa joined TFDP in September of 2005.

Dita Niyogi

Policy Analyst

Dita Niyogi has worked for years to improve the quality of life of indigent communities. Most recently, Ms. Niyogi worked with tribal communities in Western India to advocate for land and water rights and drafted a report to the UK Government recommending policies to protect the rights of migrant domestic workers. Ms. Niyogi received her B.S. degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
